After having ben through several cheap Chinese sets of fireplace tools, and complaining that the tongs were not only way too short but not sturdy enough to pick up real sizes of wood, I found Cutting Edge Metals. They answered the phone, were friendly and answered all my questions. If you are looking for extra long and extra heavy duty tongs look no further. Their fireplace poker is also extra long and very heavy duty. This is REAL MADE IN AMERICA Quality

These are a Christmas gift for my husband. I think the quality is superior and I know he is going to just love them. Would absolutely recommend them. Great service !! Very heavy duty and well made.

Contacted Mike at Cutting Edge who quickly answered all of my questions and concerns. Product shipped the next day as requested and no up charge for the requested service.
Tongs are heavy duty, well made and handle both larger and crooked fire wood logs. F-I-L uses then for every bonfire amazed at the ease of use and strength of the material. Bought the longer style and they don't bend, sag or under perform with heavy oak logs in their grasp.
If needed would buy again and have recommended them to other friends and family.

I wanted to purchase fireplace tongs and I wanted the best I could find. I did a lot of research and settled on these. When they arrived in the mail I was delighted. They are so WELL MADE. I liked them so much I then bought the fireplace poker and rake. This is high quality sturdy stuff. I will not need to repurchase for the rest of my life unless I need more for another fireplace. 5 Stars isn't nearly enough for this excellent product.

Heavy duty fire pit tongs are well built, easy to handle, and look great. This is one purchase that I will not likely be repeating ~ they don't look or feel like they will ever ware out!
